After running hard all summer, your air-conditioning system may need service. Weak airflow, uneven temperatures, unusual noises, or excessive condensation should be evaluated by a qualified HVAC professional.
Inspect the Roof and Attic
Heat and storms can damage shingles, flashing, sealants, and roof penetrations. Look for missing materials, water stains, damaged insulation, or signs of moisture in the attic.
Check Exterior Sealants and Drainage
Inspect sealant around windows, doors, siding, and exterior penetrations. Keep gutters and downspouts clear, and make sure water drains away from the foundation.
Watch for Plumbing and Sewer Problems
Slow drains, recurring backups, leaking fixtures, and sewer odors should not be ignored.
A sewer scope inspection can help locate hidden blockages, damaged piping, or root intrusion.
