Clay started Lighted Way Home Inspections after 15 years in the Aerospace Industry. During his work as a Certified FAA Repairman & Quality Control Inspector, he developed a vast knowledge of structural systems and how interdependent systems effect components as a whole.
The same attention to detail, knowledge, and experience he used to inspect repaired aircraft parts for airworthiness, he now brings to your home inspection!
When he is not providing exceptional, honest, and thorough home inspection services, Clay enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, and a strong cup of coffee.
Clay’s wife Lauren works behind the scenes from the home office coordinating the day-to-day business needs. Lauren has been a Registered Nurse for 10 years and brings her passion for service and love for people to the family business.
When she isn’t connecting with customers, Lauren can be found homeschooling the kids, baking, or out in the garden.
Lauren & Clay have been married for over 10 years, have 3 kids, and a barnyard full of animals. In addition to operating their family business, they enjoy beekeeping, homesteading on their farm just outside of Hillsboro, TX, and attending Traditional Latin Mass at Mater Dei Catholic Parish.
